Fallen Tree...on the trail

We hike about a mile up the North Loop and got this tree off the trail. It's good work when you can get it.

Fallen Leaves...Lost Gold

Just as summer is long gone from the mountains so are the leaves of gold. It was 39 degrees today on the South Loop Trail...the smell of wood smoke along with a bite in the air...the tourists were gone as well as the hikers headed up and down to pay their respects to Mt Charleston. Fall has settled in to the Springs.
